Braigh Na Leitre

Braigh Na Leitre is in Grudie at the far end of Strathconon. It's detached. You're surrounded by hills and forest up here. The view is exactly what you'd expect from a highland glen: mountains, river, some fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and it's all on the ground floor. The lounge has a wood burning stove. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.

You'll need a car. The nearest shop or pub is about fifteen miles away in Contin.

This area is for walking and being outside. The glen itself is good for that. If you want to go further, you're in a decent spot for the north and west Highlands. Loch Ness is about an hour's drive for a boat trip. The Malt Whisky Trail is to the east.

The place has what you'd need: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. The garden is enclosed. You're on a working farm, so you might see sheep or cattle nearby.

For general planning, the Walkhighlands site is good. And for local conservation and paths, NatureScot manages the area.
