Glacour Studio Cottage
Glacour Studio Cottage is in Grudie, which is part of Strathconon. This glen is out in the Highlands, fairly remote. It's a detached building, so you've got your own space.
It's a studio, so everything's on one level. Sleeps just two people. There's a proper double bed, a kitchen area, and a bathroom with a shower. It's got a three-star rating, so it's simple and clean. There's a wood burning stove, which is nice to have on.
Something you need to know is there's no mobile phone signal. It's just gone here. The TV and WiFi work, so you can contact people that way if you need to.
You can have up to two dogs. Parking is right outside.
The area is quiet. There's good walking straight from the door, and the river Conon is nearby if you fancy fishing. You'll see deer and birds of prey around.
For a shop or a pub, you're looking at about a 15-mile drive. Inverness is around 30 miles, so about 45 minutes in the car. That's where you'd go for supermarkets, restaurants, or a day out.
