Dulcie Cottage
Dulcie Cottage is in Preston Crowmarsh. It's a terraced house on a quiet lane that backs onto fields by the Thames. You can see the river from the back bedroom.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's parking for one car and an electric vehicle charger.
The local pub is about half a mile walk. It's a proper village pub. Wallingford is a ten minute drive the other way. That's where you'll find the bigger supermarkets, a few cafes and a cinema. Benson village has a shop and a couple of pubs too.
The cottage has a woodburning stove for the winter. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. There's also a shed if you need to store bikes.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Thames Path is on your doorstep. Watlington Hill is about a 15 minute drive, that's National Trust land with good views. For a day out, Oxford is roughly 25 minutes by car. Henley-on-Thames is about 20 minutes.
