Dulcie Cottage is a terraced house in the hamlet of Preston Crowmarsh. It's between Benson and Wallingford. You get a small, enclosed garden at the back which is just a patio with a table and chairs. It looks out towards the river meadows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You're a few minutes' walk from the Thames Path if you like riverside walks. The local pub is about half a mile away in Benson. There's a shop there too. Wallingford is a proper market town about a mile and a half away. It's got supermarkets, a few restaurants, and independent shops. It's where Agatha Christie lived.
Oxford is about a 20-minute drive. You can drive to Didcot Parkway station and get the train, which takes about 45 minutes to London.
For days out, Watlington Hill is nearby and good for a walk with views. The National Trust looks after it. The Chilterns are right there for cycling or walking. Greys Court and Nuffield Place are National Trust properties within a short drive.
In terms of what's there: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car right outside and an electric vehicle charger. No pets, sorry.
