Strathan Chalet
Strathan Chalet is in an elevated position, giving the feeling of seclusion and offering stunning views from the private balcony over Lochinver and the coastline. The property is lovingly furnished and offers guests a superb level of comfort throughout. There is a utility room with a washer/dryer, and the open plan living space extends into the well-equipped kitchen area.
There are patio doors leading to a decked area, with comfortable furniture to sit and take in the views. There is a kingsize bedroom and a separate bathroom with a wonderful whirlpooli bath.
There are superb hill and coastal walks to be had directly from the cottage. Deer graze in the adjoining hills and a wide variety of bird life can be spotted in the immediate area. The nearby village of Lochinver has an excellent selection of local shops and restaurants, as well as two pubs, a tourist office and interesting craft shops. This region, known as Assynt, is renowned for its superb and unspoilt beaches, hills, mountains and wildlife. Water sports, fishing, golf and cycling are all local pastimes. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
