The Hayloft Royal Wootton Bassett

The Hayloft is part of the old farm buildings at Harris Croft Farm, near Royal Wootton Bassett. It's a quiet spot with views over the fields.

It's a single, open-plan space that sleeps four. There's one double bed and a sofa bed, and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a conversion, so it feels quite spacious inside. The stairs up to it are an external metal staircase.

You get the enclosed patio to yourselves. It's a sun trap in the afternoon. There's parking right there.

The farm can do horse livery if you arrange it beforehand.

The town centre is about half a mile away. There's a decent Co-op for shopping, and a few pubs that do food. The closest one is about five minutes' walk.

You're well placed here for getting around. The M4 is about ten minutes' drive, so Bristol and Bath are easy for a day out. Stonehenge and Avebury are both within half an hour. Longleat is about 40 minutes.

If you like walking, the Wiltshire countryside is right on the doorstep. There are some good lakes around too, like the Cotswold Water Park.

Facilities wise: there's Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. It's fine for up to three dogs. There's a stairgate if you need it.
