The Calf Shed Bushton

The Calf Shed is on our farm in Bushton. It's a converted barn. We keep sheep and horses in the fields around it, so you'll see them from the windows.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything's been done to a high standard. There's underfloor heating, so the floors are warm. We put in a wood burner for the evenings.

You're down a lane here, so it's quiet. Royal Wootton Bassett is about three miles away. That's your nearest proper town for shops, supermarkets, and a few pubs and places to eat.

Being just off the M4 means you can get to a lot of places easily. Avebury stone circle is a about a twenty minute drive. Stonehenge is maybe forty minutes. Lacock Abbey is nice for a walk, that's not far either. For a good day out, you've got Bowood House and Gardens or Westonbirt Arboretum within half an hour.

If you want to go further, Bath or Bristol are about an hour's drive. Oxford is just over an hour.

What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. All the bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. No pets, I'm afraid. We also have another cottage next door, The Old Dairy, which sleeps two. You can book them together if you're a bigger group.
