The Stable High Halstow

The Stable is one of three cottages on our fruit farm in High Halstow. It's a terraced place, but you've got your own bit of enclosed garden to use.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. Everything's on one level.

You're looking out over fields towards the RSPB reserve at Northward Hill. It's very quiet. We've got free-range chickens, geese and ducks wandering about. You might see barn owls or herons from the farm, especially around the reservoir.

The village is about two miles away. It has a pub that does food, a shop and a post office. For a bigger shop, you'd head towards Rochester or Hoo.

Rochester is eight miles. It's got the castle, the cathedral, and all the Dickens connections. Canterbury is about 40 minutes by car. You can get to London from Ebbsfleet station in under half an hour on the high speed train.

The coast isn't far. The Isle of Grain and the Medway estuary are about a 15 minute drive. For a proper beach day, you'd want to go to the Isle of Sheppey or towards Whitstable, which is roughly 30 minutes.

What's here: There's parking right outside. The garden has a patio and a BBQ. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
