The Stable High Halstow

The Stable is on our fruit farm in High Halstow. It's one of three cottages in a converted barn. You get your own bit of enclosed garden, which looks out over fields towards the RSPB reserve at Northward Hill.

It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything's on the ground floor, no stairs.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see the chickens and geese wandering about. We grow fruit here, mostly for restaurants. If you're here at the right time of year, you're welcome to try some.

The village is about two miles away. It's got a pub that does food, and a shop with a post office. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Rochester. That's about eight miles.

You're well placed for getting out. The RSPB reserve is right on your doorstep if you like walking and birdwatching. You can see the heronry from here sometimes. The Thames estuary and the Kent coast are about a 20 minute drive. For a day in London, the high speed train from Ebbsfleet is quick.

What's here: WiFi, TV, parking right outside, a shower, bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden has a patio and a barbecue.
