The Haybarn High Halstow

The Haybarn is on our fruit farm in High Halstow. It's one of three cottages converted from an old barn. You get your own bit of enclosed garden. The view is out over fields towards the Northward Hill nature reserve.

It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable without any frills. The main rooms are all on the ground floor.

You're on a working farm. We've got free-range chickens, geese and ducks wandering about sometimes. You'll see the orchards. You're welcome to have a look around the farm tracks when it's safe to do so. We can't promise sightings, but there are barn owls and herons around.

The village is about two miles away. It has a pub that does food, a post office, and a small shop.

For days out, Rochester is about eight miles. It's got a castle and the Dickens connection. Canterbury is a bit further, maybe forty minutes by car. The coast is accessible, places like the Isle of Sheppey or Whitstable are within half an hour's drive.

If you want to go into London, the high-speed train from Ebbsfleet gets you there in about twenty minutes.

What's here: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There is parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
