Situated in the Royal County of Berkshire, in the heart of the historic village of Colnbrook, just a 15-minute drive away from Windsor Castle. This charming, three bedroom, Victorian cottage, has been renovated by the owners’ who live next door, to ensure a comfortable stay for guests whilst retaining a number of the property’s original character features. The sleeping accommodation comprises of a spacious master bedroom comfortably and elegantly furnished with a kingsize bed, and a large single bedroom with an additional pull-out bed on the first floor, and a twin bedroom on the second floor. Family friendly, this spacious property is well-equipped and is ideally located to explore the high quantity of nearby local tourist attractions on offer. Close by you will find the town of Windsor, where you can watch the changing of the guard ceremony outside the Castle, walk around neighbouring Eton, take a cruise down the River Thames on a hired boat or visit the Magna Carta Monument. Other attractions nearby include Legoland Windsor, Thorpe Park, Windsor Racecourse, Royal Ascot, and Liquid Leisure, the home of Europe’s largest waterpark.
Of course if you wish to venture slightly further afield the country’s capital is easily reached by public transport. Harrison Barber Cottage is located just metres away from the famous Ostrich Inn, steeped in history, it’s one of the oldest public houses in England, dating back to 1106.
