Boatmans Cottage
Boatmans Cottage is a well-appointed and well maintained, single-storey cottage in the beautiful and tranquil village of Tayvallich, just south of Crinan on a remote peninsula which is still part of the Scottish mainland. Approaching Tayvallich, the single-track winding road starts to prepare you for the peace and quiet that Tayvallich residents come to expect. Once you arrive at Boatmans Cottage there is no need for a car to get around the village. The general store and Tayvallich Inn, which specialises in locally caught seafood and shellfish, are both within a 10-minute stroll.
The cottage is a home from home with two double bedrooms with zip and link beds, a comfortable living room with a dining area, and a very well-fitted kitchen with a gas hob and electric cooker. Around the front, and to the side of Boatmans Cottage is a decked area with furniture where you can relax. Sea loch beach 100 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
