Druim-Nan-Deur is about half a mile outside Lochcarron village. It's detached, so it's just you and the view. And that view is the thing. You look straight out over Loch Carron to the hills. Attadale Gardens are right there on the far shore.
It sleeps six, in three double bedrooms. One bedroom is downstairs. There's one family-sized shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The living room has a wood burner for chilly evenings and a decent sized TV.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Outside, there's a patio with furniture, fully enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. We take one pet. You can park right there.
The village has a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a cafe. The golf course is open to visitors. You're right on the water, so you see seals often, and sometimes otters. Dolphins turn up in the bay now and then.
You're well placed for getting out. Kyle of Lochalsh and the bridge to Skye are about twenty minutes drive. Plockton is lovely for a wander, that's maybe fifteen minutes. Eilean Donan Castle is spectacular, that's roughly half an hour. If you fancy a big drive, you can go past the castle and through Glen Shiel towards Loch Ness.
