Grooms Bothy Nenthorn

This is Grooms Bothy in Nenthorn. It's a converted stable, done up in 2019. It's detached and sits next to what used to be the old manse.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom's on the ground floor and has a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, it's been done to a good modern standard. There's underfloor heating.

The main room downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, table, living area. There's a wood burner. It works well and keeps the place warm.

The property is on an eight acre site. It's an equestrian facility, so it's a working place. You can see horses. If you wanted to bring your own horse, we could sort stabling for a fee. Just ask.

It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance.

You're well placed for the Borders. Kelso is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a nice market town with an abbey. For a day out, Paxton House is near Berwick, and Coldingham beach is about half an hour away by car.

The shop, pub and restaurant are in Kelso, so about four miles.

In terms of what's here, it's got pretty much everything you'd need. Wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bicycle storage if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
