Hideaway
Hideaway is in Kelso. It's an end-terrace cottage, set back from the main road near the old church. It's quiet.
It's just for two people. One bedroom upstairs. The bathroom is up there too, it's en-suite. It's got both a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
The kitchen is new, it was done up in 2023. It's off the living room. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You can bring two dogs. The garden at the back is enclosed, so it's secure.
There's a pub about five minutes walk away. A restaurant is even closer, just a minute. The town centre with shops is a short walk.
Kelso is where the Tweed and Teviot rivers meet. It's good for fishing. Floors Castle is here, and other big houses like Mellerstain are a short drive away.
The Border Union Showground hosts events all year, like antique fairs and the agricultural show in July. Kelso Racecourse is here too.
For a day out, Eyemouth harbour is about half an hour's drive. The coast is about 24 miles. For walking, you're on the edge of the Scottish Borders countryside. The National Trust for Scotland has properties in the area.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can store bicycles.
