Tressady Coach House Pittentrail

Tressady Coach House is up near Rogart in the Highlands. It's a detached stone building, part of the old estate here. You drive through an electric gate and up a private road to get to it, so it's very quiet.

It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and a shower room are on the ground floor, which is useful if stairs are a problem. The stairs inside are normal, but the staircase up to the top bedroom is a bit steeper, more like a ship's ladder. The main living room has a high ceiling and a big open fireplace. The kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need.

You have your own garden. The estate itself has good walks right from the door. You'll see deer around, and if you're lucky, maybe an eagle. There's a large barn next to the house that can sometimes be hired for events, if you arrange it with us beforehand.

The village of Rogart is about two miles away. It's got a pub that does food and a shop. You're right by the North Coast 500 route. Dornoch is about fifteen minutes by car. It's got a nice beach and a famous golf course. Dunrobin Castle is well worth a visit too.
