Elm Cottage is in Crawfordjohn, in Lanarkshire. It's one of three cottages around a courtyard, so you'll see other guests coming and going sometimes. You're right on the edge of a big estate, so the views are good. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and everything should work as it should.
There's a pub about two miles away. The nearest shop is in Biggar, which is about seven miles. Biggar has the usual shops, a couple of museums, and a few places to eat. The Southern Upland Way footpath runs close by if you want a long walk straight from the door.
Edinburgh is less than an hour's drive if you want a city day. Glasgow is about the same. The motorway network is close, so it's easy to get around.
Inside, it's got underfloor heating and a woodburning stove. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, good wifi, and parking right outside. The whole place is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. All bedding and towels are included. No pets.
