The Hayloft Braehead

The Hayloft is in Braehead, Lanarkshire. It's one of two cottages next to our house. They're old farm buildings, about 200 years old. We live on a small farm.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need.

The main view is of Tinto Hill. You get a private patio area. The living room has a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler nights.

There's a shop and a pub about three miles away. Lanark is about five miles. That's where you'll find New Lanark, which is a World Heritage Site. The Falls of Clyde are there too. It's a good walk. For more local walks, the Corehouse Nature Reserve is nearby.

Biggar is eleven miles away. It's a nice market town with some unusual shops and places to eat. They've got museums and a little theatre.

If you want to go further, you can get to Edinburgh or Glasgow in about an hour by car. The M74 is close, so travelling around is easy.

In the cottage you've got wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
