This is Sandhole Barn. It's in Snodland, Kent. It's a detached barn conversion, set back in its own garden. Feels quiet and private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one is a double, the other has twin beds. One bathroom. The place is all on one level, which makes it straightforward. The bathroom has some helpful features if mobility is a consideration.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a big glass wall that lets in a lot of light. The finish is clean and neat, like a good hotel. It's got a 4 Star rating, and it's always kept very clean.
The garden is enclosed. It's got mature trees and flowers. It's a proper cottage garden. You'll see birds out there.
Facilities wise, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one.
Leybourne Lakes Country Park is a short walk away. You can walk around the lakes, or they do kayaking and things.
For days out, you're well placed. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Old Soar Manor and Ightham Mote. Rochester with its castle and cathedral is about 20 minutes by car. The coast at Whitstable is roughly half an hour's drive.
It's also handy for getting about. The M20 is close if you're heading to the coast or the Channel Tunnel. You can get a train from Snodland into London, which takes about an hour.
