Brindleshaw Barn
Brindleshaw Barn is a house we built in the garden. It's detached, so you've got your own space. It's quiet here, just fields and the lane.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's underfloor heating, which is nice in winter. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. We allow one.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Harvel is a small village. There's a good farm shop about a mile away for meat and vegetables. Meopham village has shops and a few places to eat, that's about four miles.
For walking, you're right in the North Downs. You can step out the door onto footpaths. National Trust Kent has local places like Cobham Mausoleum. Shorne Country Park is close for walks and they do organised runs on Sundays.
If you want a day out, Bluewater shopping centre is 15 minutes by car. The coast is about half an hour's drive, places like Whitstable or Margate. Trains to London go from Meopham or Ebbsfleet. Ebbsfleet is 15 minutes away and gets you to St Pancras quickly.
The motorways are close if you're driving in. That's about it really.
