Abbotts Ball Farm

Abbotts Ball Farm is in Potterne. It's semi-detached and attached to our farmhouse, where we live. We've got a small-holding and a livery yard.

The cottage sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it isn't posh.

It's on a quiet bridleway. There's a private patio. Out the back, there's about a quarter of an acre of space with some seating. You get long views towards Salisbury Plain. You can hear chickens sometimes, from our yard.

The village shop is about three quarters of a mile away. There's a post office and a pub half a mile away. It's a typical village pub.

You're well placed for getting out. Stonehenge, Avebury, and Lacock are all about twenty minutes by car. Lacock is a National Trust village. Bath, Salisbury, and Longleat are within half an hour. The New Forest or the Cotswolds are about an hour's drive.

In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a cot if you need it, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. We're on a working farm, so dogs need to be on a lead around the livestock.

Useful links if you're planning visits: Stonehenge, Avebury, and Lacock.
