The Old Stables is in Sherston, which is a village near Malmesbury. It's a converted barn on our farm. We live next door. You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed.
The cottage sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The conversion kept some of the old beams, so mind your head in a couple of places.
There's a village shop and a couple of pubs about five minutes' walk away. Both serve food. Malmesbury is about five miles for a bigger supermarket. The abbey there is worth a look.
You're on the edge of the Cotswolds. Tetbury is about six miles away, known for its antique shops. Westonbirt Arboretum is maybe a fifteen minute drive. For a city day, Bath is roughly 40 minutes by car. The Cotswold Water Park is close by if you want to try watersports.
For walks, you can start from the door into the lanes. For longer routes, the National Trust Cotswolds sites are good for ideas. Lacock Abbey and Dyrham Park are both National Trust places within half an hour.
What's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. You're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog. The bedding is included.
