This is the Log Cabin in Guyhirn. It's a detached cabin on the edge of the village. You don't see any other houses, just fields.
It sleeps six, but it's in two bedrooms. One is a double, the other has bunk beds and a second double bed. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The main one has a shower, the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
The cabin is a 4 Star, which is accurate. It's comfortable and well finished. The hot tub is in its own little hut out the back. You can get changed in there out of the weather. The garden is fully enclosed.
You can bring dogs, up to three. There's a washing machine and a cot if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
The location is quiet. It's the Fens, so it's flat. Good for cycling. Wisbech is about ten minutes away for supermarkets. King's Lynn is half an hour. The North Norfolk coast, like Heacham or Hunstanton, is about forty minutes if you fancy the beach.
For days out, Sandringham Estate is a straightforward drive. The Norfolk Broads are within an hour for boat trips. Peterborough Cathedral and the rail museum are about thirty minutes south.
That's about it. It's a solid base for a quiet break.
