Ruby Rose is in Guyhirn, which is a small village in the Fens. It's not a cottage, it's a glamping setup. It's a static caravan with two shepherd's huts alongside, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom. The shower is in the separate bathroom hut. There's underfloor heating throughout, which is good because it can get chilly out there.
The main thing is the private garden and the hot tub. It's fenced off for privacy. There's decking and a gas barbecue. The site has a few goats wandering around.
Guyhirn is quiet. The Nene Way footpath is right across the road, so you can go for a riverside walk straight away.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. They do good food. There's a ten-pin bowling and laser tag place also within walking distance.
You're right on the border of three counties here. Peterborough is about a 20 minute drive. The north Norfolk coast, like Hunstanton or Brancaster, is about 45 minutes. Cambridge is just under an hour's drive. King's Lynn and Sandringham are roughly 40 minutes away.
For facilities: there's a proper flushing toilet and a rainfall shower in the hut. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking on site.
