Cannock Chase Rugeley

Cannock Chase is a cottage in Rugeley, Staffordshire. It's in the woods, but not too far from the town. The place sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own ensuite shower room, which is handy.

It’s been recently done up. There's an open plan kitchen and living area with doors out to the garden. It has a wood burner. Outside there’s a patio and a hot tub. The garden is enclosed.

You’re right on the edge of Cannock Chase. You can walk or bike straight into the woods from the property. The mountain bike trails, like Follow the Dog, are very close. For walks, Sherbrook Valley and the old hillfort at Castle Ring are good spots.

Birches Valley Forest Centre is about ten minutes away by car. They have play areas and the Gruffalo Trail. Chasewater Country Park is within a twenty minute drive, with a lake and a railway. Shugborough Hall is a National Trust property, also about twenty minutes.

In terms of facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
