Little Acres Cottage is just outside Cawood village, on the Selby Road. It's detached. You get a big, open field view out the back.
There are two bedrooms. One double and one room with a super king bed that can be two singles if you'd rather. Both have their own bathrooms. The one upstairs is ensuite and has a shower. The main one downstairs has a bath with a shower over it.
The living area is open plan with a wood burning stove. The kitchen's at the back, off the living space. It has everything you'd need, a dishwasher, and there's a washing machine in a small utility area. There's a TV and Wi-Fi.
The garden is enclosed. It's got a patio with a table. Good for a morning coffee or letting a dog out.
The village is a five minute walk. There's a pub and a tea room. You can walk down to the River Ouse from there. You can see the ruins of Cawood Castle in the village centre.
You can drive into York in about twenty-five minutes. That's where you'll find the Minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre. Selby is ten minutes away the other way, with its Abbey.
If you want a bigger walk, the Yorkshire Dales are about an hour's drive. The North York Moors are a similar distance.
Facilities: parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are provided. We allow one well-behaved dog. The cottage is rated 5 Star.
