Fin Glen is up in Ardeonaig, near Killin. It’s a detached cottage, so you’ve got your own space.
It sleeps eight, across four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own sink and vanity unit. Three of them are doubles, and one has two single beds. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well-finished.
There’s a big open plan living, kitchen and dining area with patio doors out the back. There’s a wood burner if you want it. It also has a snug room off the main living area with a TV, bean bags and some board games.
The area is properly rural. You’re on the banks of Loch Tay but the nearest proper village is Killin, which is a five minute drive. It’s a nice village with a shop or two and some pubs. The Falls of Dochart are right there.
You can walk from the door into the hills. For longer walks and proper scenery, you’re right on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. There’s fishing, a golf course, and horse riding nearby.
Aberfeldy is about half an hour away if you need more shops. Glencoe and Oban are both just over an hour’s drive for a day out.
Facilities wise: there’s parking, a dishwasher, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
