The Box is on our farm in Worlds End, near Denmead. It's a converted horse box. So it's a single, long space with everything in it. You've got the bed at one end and the living area at the other.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom area, one en-suite bathroom. The shower is electric, so it's warm but not what you'd call powerful. There's a small gas hob for cooking basics. We leave you a breakfast basket with some local bits when you arrive.
Outside, it's private. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a BBQ. You look out over the fields. It's detached, so it's just you out there. We're a working farm, so you'll see the animals and hear the usual farm noises.
The Chairmaker's Arms pub is about a ten minute walk. They do good food. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Waterlooville or Cosham.
Portsdown Hill is a five minute drive. The view over Portsmouth and the Solent is worth it. Hambledon Vineyard is about fifteen minutes away if you want a tour. Porchester Castle is twenty minutes. For a day by the sea, it's about half an hour to the beaches at Hayling Island or the sailing at Chichester Harbour.
Facilities: there's a TV, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right next to it. We allow one well-behaved dog.
