Lomond View Lodge Rowardennan

Lomond View Lodge is in Rowardennan. It's right on the park, on the east side of Loch Lomond. You can see the loch and the hills, like Ben Lomond, from the decking. The decking is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs or have kids.

It’s a detached lodge. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms: one double, one twin, and one with bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite off the main bedroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped.

The main room is open plan, kitchen, dining, living area. French doors open out to the deck. There’s a store next to the lodge for bikes or kayaks.

The park has its own bit of beach and a jetty. You can use the mooring buoys if you have a boat. It’s a popular start for walking up Ben Lomond. The West Highland Way path goes right through here.

There’s a hotel a short walk away that does pub food. You can get groceries delivered to the lodge. For a bigger shop, you’d drive to Drymen or Balloch.

Within about half an hour you’ve got Balloch and the southern end of the loch. Stirling and Glasgow are also within an hour’s drive if you wanted a day trip to a city.

Facilities: it has parking, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two pets. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.
