The Stables Polesworth

The Stables is on our farm just outside Polesworth in Warwickshire. It’s one of two barns we've converted, so it's next to The Granary. They can be booked together if you're a bigger group.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor. One's a double with its own en-suite shower room, the other has twin beds that can be joined into a kingsize if you ask beforehand. You get your own patio area out the back with a table and chairs, and a shared bit of garden that looks out over the fields.

It’s a working farm, so you'll see horses and cattle about. The farm lane is quiet for walks. For a longer walk, the Coventry Canal towpath is about a mile away. You can fish on one of the farm ponds if you want to.

The place has a TV and WiFi. There's a washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right outside.

We take dogs, up to three. Horses can be accommodated too, but you'd need to arrange that with us well before you come.

There's a local shop and a couple of pubs in Polesworth village, about a five minute drive. The nearest big supermarket is in Tamworth, which is about ten minutes by car.

For days out, Twycross Zoo is about a 20 minute drive. Drayton Manor theme park is roughly the same. The Tamworth SnowDome is about 15 minutes away if you fancy skiing or the swimming pool. If you need to get to Birmingham or the NEC, it's about half an hour on the motorway. The train station in Nuneaton is 20 minutes away and has trains to London.
