The Granary Polesworth

The Granary is on our farm, just outside Polesworth. It's a converted barn, one of two we've done up. You get your own bit of garden and patio. The view from there is all fields and sky. It's quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom's upstairs with its own en-suite. The twin bedroom is downstairs; the beds can be pushed together to make a king if you ask first. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works.

The front door opens into the kitchen. You go down two steps into the living area. It's not a big drop, but you notice it. The patio doors lead straight out.

It's a working farm. We've got horses and cattle. You'll see them about. You can bring your dog, up to three are fine. You can even bring your own horse if you arrange it with us beforehand. There's stabling.

There's a local shop and a couple of pubs within a few minutes' drive. They're fine for a pint and a meal. For a proper shop, Tamworth is close.

For walking, you've got farm tracks and the Coventry Canal towpath nearby. There's fishing on the next farm over. Plenty of golf courses around here too, within ten miles.

If you've got kids, Twycross Zoo and Drayton Manor are about twenty minutes away. The Snowdome in Tamworth is about fifteen minutes for skiing. Birmingham, the NEC, and all that are maybe half an hour by car, depending on traffic.

What's in the cottage: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
