Coillessan Lodge is a wooden cabin near Lochinver. It's detached, so you won't have any neighbours attached to you. It's in a quiet spot, about a two minute walk from Inverkirkaig Bay.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are fine, they're just normal stairs.
The main living area is upstairs. It's open-plan, with a kitchen and a sitting area. There's a balcony. The view from up there is good, you can see the water. Downstairs is a decked area too, if you want to sit outside.
It's all electric, and the bills are included. There's WiFi, a TV, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The place is handy for walking. You can get down to the bay easily. If you walk further round the coast, you can see the Kirkaig Falls. Achmelvich beach is about six miles away, it's a beautiful white sand beach.
Lochinver village is a short drive. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, and a petrol station. The Assynt landscape around here is incredible for walking. If you're interested in the geology, the North West Highlands Geopark site has good information. For general planning, Visit Scotland's Lochinver page is useful.
No pets, I'm afraid.
