Lion House Burrough End

Lion House is a cabin at Piggles Retreat in Burrough End, Cambridgeshire. It's a 4 Star place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.

It's detached and you have your own little garden area with a patio. There's a hot tub out there too. Inside it's open plan. There's a kitchen area, a living space with a TV, a shower room and a separate toilet. The bed is comfortable. All the bedding and towels are provided. You can park right outside.

The cabin is on a site with a couple of other cabins, but they're spaced out. There are shared grounds with a boating lake you can use. They have rowing boats. There's also a putting green and a badminton court. You'll see a gazebo and a tree house platform around the place.

The stairs up to the sleeping loft are quite steep. Just so you know.

Cambridge is about a 20 minute drive. Good for a day out, seeing the colleges or going punting. Newmarket is closer, maybe 15 minutes. You can see the racehorses training on the gallops in the morning. The coast at Felixstowe is further, about an hour's drive.
