Lantern Lodge is in Bramley, just north of Basingstoke. It's a ground-floor lodge, so most of it is on one level. It sleeps four in two bedrooms.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Inside it's open plan, with a sliding door out to your own decking area. The deck looks over a shared courtyard, which is where the lantern is.
There are a couple of fixed ladders inside. One goes up to a snug mezzanine area for relaxing. In the second bedroom, there's another ladder up to a cabin-style bed tucked into the eaves. That room also has a single bed with a pull-out trundle, so it can be two singles or a double.
Bramley village has a train station about ten minutes' walk away, with trains to Basingstoke and Reading. There's a bakery and a pub in the village. The Vyne is less than a mile away, which is good for a walk. Silchester Roman Town walls are about four miles. Wellington Country Park is a family day out, that's four miles too.
For a longer drive, Winchester is about 24 miles. The North Wessex Downs, the Chilterns, and the South Downs National Park are all within half an hour if you like walking.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, bedding included, and parking. The whole place is wheelchair accessible. You can bring up to two dogs.
