Alright, so this one's Westside Apartment 2, in Basingstoke. It’s an apartment, ground floor, in a quiet neighbourhood. You’ve got two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy. Sleeps four.

It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it’s well equipped. The kitchen has a dishwasher and one of those big ovens. The living area is open plan. WiFi is decent. There’s a 50 inch TV with Sky.

The main bedroom has a very big bed and an exercise machine in there. The second bedroom has a kingsize. Both have good bedding. We keep a travel cot and highchair in there too, if you need it.

Best bit is probably the garden. You can get to it from every room. It’s a proper patio area, fenced in, with some plants. It’s quiet out there. You can sit with a coffee.

Location is straightforward. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to the train station. There’s a local shop about five minutes away, a pub even closer, and a restaurant nearby. If you want the big shops, Festival Place is a ten minute walk. That’s got all the usual chain stores and a cinema.

Parking is in a secure underground garage. You get one dedicated space. There’s a lift up to the flat.

It’s wheelchair friendly at the entrance and everything’s on one level inside.

For days out, you’re not far from the North Wessex Downs. National Trust Hampshire has places like The Vyne. Winchester and its cathedral are about a twenty-five minute drive. Reading is maybe half an hour the other way.
