Westside Apartment 2 is in a quiet bit of Basingstoke. It's a modern first-floor flat. You get two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy.

It sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything's on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem. There's a lift from the underground garage. You get one dedicated parking space down there.

The place is bright and open. The kitchen has a dishwasher and the living area has a big TV. Both bedrooms have very comfortable, large beds. One is a super king, the other a king. The master bedroom has an exercise machine in it.

The best bit is probably the patio. It's a good size, with flowers and birds, and you can get to it from any room. It's quiet, even though you're not far from things.

It's about a ten-minute walk to Festival Place, which is the big shopping centre with shops, restaurants, and a cinema. The train station is about fifteen minutes on foot. There's a local shop, a pub, and a restaurant all within five minutes' walk.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, fast WiFi, bedding and towels are included. There's a travel cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.

If you're looking for days out, National Trust Hampshire has good options. The North Wessex Downs area is about a thirty-minute drive for walks. Winchester is about twenty-five minutes by car. Reading and its attractions are around half an hour away.
