Club Cottage
Club Cottage is in Farleigh Wallop, Hampshire. It's on a private estate, so you've got fields and woods right outside. The main thing is the space. You can walk or cycle for miles without seeing a road.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. The stairs are mentioned as being steep in the listing, so just be aware of that.
Downstairs is one open room. There's a kitchen area, a table, and a sitting area with an open fire. It's all decorated nicely. Outside, there's an enclosed garden.
The Estate Club is next door. It's not always open, but when it is at weekends, you can pop in for a drink. The nearest proper pub is about a mile and a half away, across the fields.
For days out, Basingstoke is close for shops and things like a cinema. Winchester is about half an hour's drive. It's a nice old city with the cathedral. The New Forest is about 40 minutes south if you want to see ponies. Highclere Castle, which is the Downton Abbey house, is within half an hour. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Southampton are both under an hour away.
We allow one dog. There's parking right there. All the bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing machine and dishwasher. There's a highchair if you need one.
