Gardeners Cottage Huntly

Gardeners Cottage is about a mile outside Huntly. It's detached, on the edge of some woods. The owners live on the same land but it's a fair distance away, so it's private.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs, two doubles and a twin. There's a bathroom upstairs and an extra shower room on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well set up.

Downstairs is mostly open plan. Kitchen, dining, living area all together. There's a separate snug with a wood burner if someone wants to get away from the main room. The main living space looks out over the garden and fields.

Outside, there's a hot tub. We provide towels and slippers for that. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs. There's even a big kennel setup if your dog likes its own space. You can bring two pets.

It's a quiet spot. You'll see plenty of wildlife like red squirrels and birds from the windows. There are forest walks directly from the property.

Huntly has a shop, pubs, and a castle. The river's there for fishing if you have a permit. You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, so walking and cycling routes are all around. The coast at places like Banff or Aberdeen is within an hour's drive.

For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. There's an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a cot and highchair if you need them.
