The Stables Marton

The Stables is in Marton, which is a quiet village in Warwickshire. It's a single-storey bungalow attached to our house, but you've got your own door and it's separate.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's all on the ground floor, there are no stairs to worry about.

We allow pets, up to three. There's an enclosed yard area for them.

In terms of facilities, you've got a TV, WiFi, and all your bedding and towels are included. There's a shower, but no bath.

The village is quiet and good for walks straight from the door. Draycote Water is about six miles away. It's a big reservoir. People go for sailing, fishing, or just to walk around it. It's good for birdwatching.

If you need shops, Southam is under five miles. Rugby is about nine miles and has everything: supermarkets, shops, a cinema. Royal Leamington Spa is ten miles away. It's a nice town to wander around, with the Jephson Gardens by the river.

Warwick Castle is 12 miles. Stratford-upon-Avon, for Shakespeare stuff, is about 15 miles. You can drive into the Cotswolds in half an hour. For bigger events, the NEC and Coventry are also within a 30 minute drive.
