Dilkusha

Dilkusha is a flat in Peebles, in the centre of town but up a hill. The views from the front windows are very good, over the rooftops and the river.

It sleeps up to five people. There are two proper bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed and its own shower room. The other has a set of custom-built bunk beds that are strong enough for adults. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. There's also a television room at the back with a large daybed. It has no window, so it's dark in there, which is good for watching films. That daybed could be used for a fifth person to sleep.

The kitchen is well done, with a wooden breakfast bar. There's a log burner in the lounge. Outside, there's a terrace with a barbecue that gets the evening sun.

You're about two minutes' walk from the high street, so you can easily get to the shops, cafes, and restaurants. The flat is rated 4 Star, which reflects the standard of it.

For walks, you can start right from the door. The Tweed Valley paths are on your doorstep. The Glentress mountain biking trails are just a couple of miles away. If you like golf, the course is a short walk from the flat.

Edinburgh is about a 45-minute drive if you want a day in the city. The wider Scottish Borders countryside is all around you for driving or cycling.

Facilities included are: parking for one car, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and bed linen and towels. You can bring up to two dogs. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
