Dilkusha is a lower ground-floor flat in the centre of Peebles. It sleeps five. I'd say it's best for a family or a small group of friends.
You get great views because it's up on a hill. It looks out over the town and the countryside.
There are two proper bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower. The other has adult-sized bunk beds. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
There's also a cinema room, or games room, at the back. It has a big screen and a large daybed. It doesn't have a window, because it's meant for watching films. You could sleep someone in there if you needed to.
The kitchen is well equipped. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has a wood-burning stove. There's a secluded terrace outside with a barbecue.
You're about two minutes walk from the high street, so shops, cafes and restaurants are easy. There's parking on site.
You can take up to two dogs. We include bedding and towels.
The Tweed is right there for fishing. For walking, you've got the hills around you straight away. The Scottish Borders Council website has good local walking info. For a day out, you're about 40 minutes drive from central Edinburgh. Glentress, for mountain biking, is about ten minutes away.
