It's called Maybank. It's on the ground floor of an old building in the middle of Peebles. You get the whole floor to yourselves.
Sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one has a kingsize bed, the other has twin beds. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well set up. Being ground floor is handy.
You're right in the town centre. Literally a couple of minutes' walk from the High Street. So you've got all the shops, pubs, and cafes on your doorstep. It's quiet for where it is, but you'll hear some town noise.
There's a small private patio area out the back. You can store bikes there if you bring them. Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and the towels and bedding are included.
The River Tweed is a five-minute walk away. Nice for a wander. The area is good for cycling, and Glentress Forest, which has the mountain bike trails, is about a ten-minute drive. Local fishing and horse riding are available if you arrange it in advance.
If you want to drive out, you're on the edge of the Borders. Edinburgh is under an hour away. Glasgow is just over an hour. The roads around here are very scenic.
