Maybank
This is Maybank, a ground-floor apartment in Peebles. It's in a traditional building but you get the whole lower floor to yourselves. There's a small patio area out the back.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one is a twin, the other has a kingsize bed. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level which is handy.
It's right in the town centre. You can walk to everything in a few minutes: shops, pubs, cafes, the lot. The River Tweed is just down the road for a walk.
If you're into cycling, it's a good spot. There are routes all over. There's a cycle store outside. The serious downhill mountain biking is at Glentress Forest, which is about ten minutes away by car.
For a day out, you can drive to Edinburgh in under an hour. Glasgow is just over an hour. The roads around here are very scenic.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
