Riverside Cottage Larkhall

Riverside Cottage is in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire. It's a detached house on a bit of a slope above the Avon Water river. You can see the river from the garden.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One double bedroom is downstairs with its own shower room. Upstairs there's another double and a twin, and they share the main bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting room all in one. Out the back, there's a garden with a patio, a sauna, and a hot tub. You're welcome to bring up to two dogs.

The local pub is a short walk down the road and does food. Larkhall town centre has a few more places to eat and drink. For a bigger choice, Hamilton is about a ten minute drive away.

You're well placed for getting around. Glasgow is about 20 minutes by car. The M74 is close, so Stirling, Edinburgh and into the Borders are all straightforward for a day out. There's a mainline train station in Larkhall too, with direct services to Glasgow.

Locally, the river is good for walks. You can fish or canoe on it. Strathclyde Country Park is nearby, which has M&D's theme park and a lot of walking and cycling paths. There's golf and horse riding close by as well.

What's included: all the electricity and utilities, bedding and towels, a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and on-site parking. We provide a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them for little ones.
