This is Kirklea. It's a semi-detached cottage in Wishaw, in Lanarkshire. You're right by the M74 and M8 if you're driving, so it's good for getting about.
It's a two bed cottage, sleeps four. One double, one twin. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. There's a step at the front door, but the entrance is wheelchair accessible once you're in.
You get the garden to yourselves out the back. It's a decent size, enclosed. There's parking right outside.
Inside, it's straightforward. The living room's fine, there's a Smart TV. The kitchen has a table to eat at. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, all that. The bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs.
Wishaw itself has what you need: shops, pubs, places to eat. If you're here for golf, fishing, or horse riding, it's all local.
For day trips, you're well placed. Glasgow's about half an hour north. Edinburgh is under an hour's drive. The Southern Uplands and the Clyde Valley are close by for walking. If you fancy the coast, Ayr and the Firth of Clyde are about 45 minutes away.
