Olivers Barn
Olivers Barn is in Shefford Woodlands, tucked away in the North Wessex Downs. It's a barn conversion. There's another barn right next door called Hatchers Barn, which you can book as well. It's the same layout, so you can put two groups of eight together.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Everything's on the ground floor, so it's good if stairs are a problem. It's got the highest rating, which means it's all new, properly finished, and spotless.
You get the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed. There's parking, an electric car charger, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
There's a footpath that starts right from the front door, so you can just head straight out for a walk. It's good cycling country too. The village pub is about a ten minute walk. They serve food.
Newbury Racecourse is about a twenty minute drive. For something really special, Highclere Castle is about half an hour away. So is Avebury Stone Circle, and Windsor Castle is within the half hour too. The Lambourn racing stables are nearby if you like horses.
