Lochside Apartment
Lochside Apartment is in Stronachlachar, right on Loch Katrine. It's the first floor of a larger building, but your apartment is private. There are a few other apartments in the block.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms. One is a king with its own shower. The other two are twins. There's a family bathroom too. The living area is upstairs on the second floor, so you're up high for the view. There are quite a few stairs to get up there.
The view from the living room is the main thing. It looks straight down the loch. It's very quiet.
Stronachlachar pier is a two-minute walk. The steamship, the SS Sir Walter Scott, calls in here from Trossachs Pier. There's a small cafe at the pier. They do good coffee and cakes. You can sit in their conservatory.
For a proper shop or a pub meal, you need to drive to Aberfoyle. That's about 20-25 minutes. They've got a Co-op, some places to eat, and a Go Ape. The main walking and cycling is right from the door. You can hire bikes at the Trossachs Pier.
The apartment has a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
