Lochside Apartment Stronachlachar

Lochside Apartment is on the east shore of Loch Katrine, at Stronachlachar. The views from the windows are very good, straight down the loch.

The apartment sleeps six in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom, and one bedroom has its own shower room. Everything has a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable.

It’s on the first floor, so you go up three flights of external stairs to get in. Inside, more stairs go up to the main living space on the second floor. This building is shared with a few other private homes.

You can book it on its own or together with Lochside House next door, if you need more space. If they’re not booked together, the connecting door is kept locked.

The Stronachlachar Pier is right there, about a two minute walk. A small passenger boat comes in from Trossachs Pier every day. There’s a café on the pier that does good coffee and light lunches.

The area is quiet. Good for walking, paddleboarding, or fishing. Aberfoyle is the nearest town, about a 25 minute drive. It has shops, supermarkets, and places to eat. There’s a Go Ape just outside the town.

Facilities include a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are provided. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
