Chestnut Grange is in Barrow, Suffolk. It's a detached house on a regular residential street. Sleeps ten, five bedrooms, four bathrooms.
It's a big place, good for a family gathering or a group of friends. Three of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. There's a separate living room, dining room, and study. The kitchen is large.
We put in a games area with a pool table and bar football. Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a patio and a hot tub. The whole place is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor, and one bathroom has a seat in the shower.
The house has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive.
You can bring one dog. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
There are two pubs in the village, about 175 yards away. Both serve food. There are also two convenience shops.
For days out, Bury St Edmunds is close. It's a market town with nice streets, the abbey ruins, and shops. You can find more information at English Heritage Bury St Edmunds Abbey.
A 30 minute drive gets you to a few places. Ickworth House and Anglesey Abbey, both National Trust, are nearby. National Trust Ickworth. Lavenham is a well-preserved medieval village. Cambridge is about 40 minutes west on the A14. The Suffolk coast, like Southwold, is just under an hour's drive.
There's a golf course locally. You can also book clay pigeon shooting or horse riding in the village if you want to arrange something ahead of time.
