Bramley Cottage
Bramley Cottage is on our fruit farm just outside Bovinger. It's a new build, brand new for this year. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. The rating is four star. It's well set up and comfortable.
The main thing is the setting. It's on the farm, so you're looking out over the orchard fields. In the right season, you can pick your own plums from our trees. We sell honey from the farm too.
The living area is all open-plan. Big bi-fold doors open onto a private patio. There's a fire pit out there for the evenings. Inside, there's a wood burner for cooler days. Everything's on one level and the doorways are wide, so it's fine for wheelchair access.
You've got the basics covered: parking right outside, an electric vehicle charger, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one well-behaved dog.
Location wise, it's quiet. Chipping Ongar is about three miles away for shops. The Ongar railway station is the start of the Epping Ongar Railway steam line, which is a nice trip out.
Epping Forest is on your doorstep for walks or cycling. For something different, the Lee Valley White Water Centre is about 25 minutes by car. If you like history, the Royal Gunpowder Mills at Waltham Abbey are very close.
It's about half an hour into central London by tube from Epping station, if you fancy a day in the city.
