Bramley Cottage is a new build on our fruit farm in Bovinger, Essex. It's a one-bedroom place, just for two.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, with things like a dishwasher and a wood burner. The whole place is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure for them. There's a patio with a barbecue and a fire pit.
The main thing is the view. The living area has big doors that open right onto the patio, looking out over the farm fields. It's quiet. You can buy our honey here on the farm, and in late summer you're welcome to pick plums if they're ripe.
Epping Forest is about a 20-minute drive for walks or cycling. The Lee Valley White Water Centre is roughly 25 minutes away if you want that sort of thing.
For a day out, the Chipping Ongar steam railway is only three miles from here. Epping Forest has a lot of history, like Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge. Waltham Abbey and the other local towns have decent market days.
You're about 40 minutes by car from central London if you need to go in. Mostly though, it's just fields out the window.
