Snow Drop Hut Walcot

Snow Drop Hut is a shepherd's hut in a paddock at Walcot Hall. It's detached and just for two people. Peaceful spot, surrounded by trees.

It's one room inside, open plan. There's a wood burner to keep it warm. The double bed is in the same space, with the shower room ensuite off it. It's a 4 Star rating, which is good for a glamping place. It's comfortable, but it is just one room. You should know the toilet and shower are in that same ensuite cubicle.

You get your own deck outside with a BBQ. The paddock is yours to use. There's parking right there.

The local pub is about a mile away, they do food. The nearest shop is two and a half miles. For a big shop, you'd want to drive to Market Rasen or Lincoln.

Lincoln is about half an hour's drive. The cathedral is worth seeing. You can walk up Steep Hill from the old town. Lincoln Castle is there too. The coast at Cleethorpes is about 45 minutes away if you fancy that.

The hut is on a bridleway so you can walk straight out from the door. For wider planning, the Lincolnshire Wolds area is good for walks and bike rides.

Facilities are what you'd expect: bedding and towels are included, there's a TV and WiFi. You can bring up to two dogs. There's no separate kitchen, just the facilities in the room.
