Walcot Hall is a Georgian house on the edge of Walcot, near Alkborough. It's detached, with its own gardens and a bit of land around it. The building is from the 1700s and is listed, so it has the features you'd expect: tall windows, high ceilings, and proper fireplaces.
It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and maintained. It's a big house, so it doesn't feel cramped.
Downstairs, there's a large drawing room with an open fire and a smaller living room with a TV. The kitchen has an Aga, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's a big dining room for meals together. The stairs are the original ones, so they're a typical Georgian staircase.
Outside, there are about five acres of garden and grounds you can use. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool. It's open in the warmer months. Check the booking information for the exact dates.
