Dothan Farm Cottage is near Kirkcaldy in Fife. It's one of four in a row, terraced. It has a 4 Star rating.
It's all on one level inside, which is handy. Two double bedrooms and a shower room. The lounge looks out the front over fields. There's a wood burner for colder days. The kitchen is new.
The garden is at the back, on three levels. It's got a big patio with a good view of the Lomond Hills. The gardens are private but there are no fences between them and the neighbours, so it's open.
You'll probably park at the back of the property. That's where you come in, up 23 steps to the kitchen door. If steps are a problem, there's a drop-off area to the side and you can use the front door instead, which has no steps.
It's very peaceful here, surrounded by fields and a working farm. The local pub is about three quarters of a mile away. The coast is four miles. Kirkcaldy town centre is three miles for shops.
You're well placed for getting about. The Fife Coastal Path is close. You can drive to Edinburgh in under an hour. Cluny Activity Centre is right nearby if you want that sort of thing.
It sleeps four. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking for two cars, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
