Dothan Farm Cottage is in Kirkcaldy. It’s one of four cottages in a terraced row. The front looks out over open fields. The back has a good view of the fields and the Lomond Hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and one shower room. Everything is on one level. It has a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-kept.
The access is a bit unusual. You can come in the front door with no steps. The main way in is at the back, through the kitchen, but that’s up 23 steps from the parking area. There’s a drop-off area at the side if the steps are a problem. The parking is shared and fits two cars.
The gardens are private but there aren’t fences between the neighbours. The back garden is on three levels with a patio. You’re surrounded by fields and there’s a working farm.
It’s peaceful here. There’s a pub about three-quarters of a mile away, and a shop is a mile and a quarter. Kirkcaldy town centre is three miles. The coast is about four miles.
For things to do, Cluny Activity Centre is very close if you want that. The Fife Coastal Path is nearby. Edinburgh is about a 40 minute drive. Loch Lomond is under an hour. St Andrews is about an hour.
Facilities included are a washing machine, WiFi, parking, and bedding and towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
