Gardeners Cottage
Gardeners Cottage is in Kiddemore Green. It's detached, sits on the edge of the Chillington Hall estate. You're down the drive from the main hall, in your own garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's a 5 star rating, which really just means it's been done to a high standard. Everything's new and works properly. There's a woodburner for colder nights.
You can walk straight out onto the estate footpaths from the garden gate. On some days the hall and grounds are open to the public, which is worth doing if you're here. The parkland is Capability Brown, so it's a proper landscape.
The local shop and pub are about two miles away in Brewood. They're decent. For a bigger shop you'd go to Penkridge.
You can get to quite a few places in half an hour. The RAF Museum at Cosford is about fifteen minutes. The Severn Valley Railway starts at Bridgnorth. If you want a city day, Birmingham is thirty minutes on the train from Codsall station, which is two miles from here.
Further out, Ironbridge, Shrewsbury, and Stafford are all within forty minutes' drive. The National Trust has a few properties locally, like Dudmaston.
Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking for two cars. The garden is enclosed. You can bring one dog.
