The Pump House Kiddemore Green

The Pump House is in Kiddemore Green. It used to be the estate's water pump building. It's detached, so it's nice and quiet.

It's a four star place, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's just for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. Everything's on one level because it's wheelchair accessible. The shower is a walk-in.

You get your own bit of garden. It's enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. We allow one pet. The view from there is over the estate fields, no other houses in the way.

The inside is open plan. Kitchen, living area, and the bed's all in one space. There's a dishwasher, TV, and wifi. The stairs to the mezzanine where the bed is are quite steep, so you need to be steady on your feet.

You can walk on some of the private estate paths. There are also public footpaths all over the 4,000 acres. Sometimes the main hall and its parkland are open to the public. It's a Capability Brown landscape, with a lake.

For days out, the RAF Museum at Cosford is very close. Shifnal has a golf course. You can get to Birmingham city centre in about half an hour. The Shropshire Union Canal is nearby for walks. Ironbridge Gorge is about a 30 minute drive. Stafford Castle is closer.
