West Kilblean Cottage - Uk
West Kilblean Cottage is on our farm near Craigdam. It's detached, so it's just you and the view. The view is fields. It's quiet.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs at all.
It's a working farm, so you'll see and hear farm things. Tractors, sheep, the usual. The cottage has its own garden with a barbecue. There's a wood burner for heat, and a dishwasher. We include the bedding and towels. You can bring one dog.
The nearest place is Old Meldrum, about a mile and a half away. It has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. For a proper beach, the sands at Newburgh are about eleven miles. You can see seals there sometimes.
If you like walking, Bennachie is ten miles off. It's a big hill with good paths. For history, you've got places like Tolquhon Castle and Haddo House within a half hour drive. The big sand dunes at Balmedie are about twenty-five miles.
There's parking right outside the cottage. You can store bikes if you bring them. WiFi is included.
